Matias Herrera - Founder
From his earliest days in sport, Matías Herrera understood that a goalkeeper’s performance is not defined by talent or effort alone, but by mastery of the details that sustain high-level play. His journey began in volleyball, where he developed coordination and game awareness, before transitioning into youth soccer and eventually reaching the professional level in Chile. Competing in both First and Second Division soccer, as well as international tournaments such as the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana, he experienced firsthand the demands of elite competition.
His path later led him to the United States, where he faced the intensity of collegiate and semi-professional soccer, earning starting roles, championships, and individual recognition. In January 2026, he represented Chile at the Kings World Cup Nations 2026, where he was named MVP – Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament, reinforcing his belief in preparation, mentality, and attention to detail.
Through these experiences—as a leader, a goalkeeper comfortable with the ball at his feet, and a player trusted under pressure—one lesson became clear: for goalkeepers, small details make the difference. That belief is the foundation of Psico Goalkeeper Training, a program built around technical precision, game understanding, mentality, and consistency, designed to prepare goalkeepers to perform with confidence in real match situations.
